Questions people actually ask

We already have Trusted Advisor. Why pay for this?

Use both — they answer different questions. Trusted Advisor evaluates configuration, and it has far more checks than we do; we are not trying to out-breadth it. What it works from is configuration snapshots, so it cannot say "this tier is running hot AND cannot scale", or "this counter is monotonic and reaches its ceiling in nine days". Those need metric history joined to configuration, which is the class of finding TellHound exists for. Note also that Trusted Advisor's full check set needs a Business Support+ plan on each account.

We already have Datadog or New Relic. Why this?

They answer what happened; we answer what to do about it. An observability platform ingests your CloudWatch metrics and charts them well — it will chart ECS CPU on one graph and Auto Scaling Group capacity on another, and never mention that scaling is switched on but structurally unable to act. That join is a TellHound finding. Most customers keep both; we are not asking you to replace a tool your team already likes.

What counts as an AWS account?

One connected account ID, across as many regions as you like. Regions are not billed separately.

What happens when my trial ends?

Your data and dashboards stay. Collection and alerting pause until you pick a plan — we do not delete history because a trial lapsed.

Can TellHound change anything in my account?

No. The role it assumes is read-only and has no write permissions of any kind. The CloudFormation template is published in full so you can read it before deploying.

Do you need my AWS access keys?

Never. TellHound cannot accept them. Access is a cross-account IAM role scoped by an ExternalId unique to you.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the billing portal. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for.

Do you support Azure, GCP or DigitalOcean?

Not yet — AWS only, done properly. Multi-cloud is on the roadmap; tell us what you run and it will inform the order.
